Come to the Garden

One of my favorite memories is of hearing my mother singing this hymn, "I come to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses."  from some part of the house or another, as she did her housework.  Over the years I have found inspiration and rest in my own 'private' garden, a collection of pictures, quotes and relevant Bible verses I keep in a notebook.  I'd like to share some of the resources and ideas I've gathered over 30 some years of being a Christian.  I hope you find inspiration and rest here too, no matter where you are in your journey.

Welcome to my web site!

Since becoming a Christian as a high school freshman, my life has changed in many unexpected ways.  At fourteen I was a shy, introverted person who preferred to blend into the background and remain unnoticed.  At forty-six I've sung on a Vineyard worship team, led worship at a home Bible study and have served on the Board of Directors at my current church as both Vice Moderator and Clerk.  Who knew God would make a leader out of that short chunky girl who found Jesus at a Children of the Day concert  in January of 1973?   Amazing transformations aside, the single most important thing, the unmoving anchor in my life, continues to be my personal relationship with Jesus!

Thanks for visiting, and be sure to get in touch and let me know what you think!  And come back again, because I hope to add more to this site soon.

...while the dew is still on the roses...
I come to the garden alone
Let God's presence refresh you.

...and He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His own.  And the joy we share, as we tarry there, none other has ever known.
